A football team is comprised of multiple players who serve different roles to make the team successful. If the kicker doesn’t do his part, it affects the team. If the receiver constantly fumbles, he’s failing the rest of the team. If the quarterback is inconsistent, the other players can’t accomplish what they’re trying to do. Today, Pastor Bill teaches on the idea of each person serving and doing your part in building up the church because you’re a team. Being a team is more than the individual.

When a football team is scouting out a player to recruit, you want to show your finest work or ability to them while they’re watching. But what if you put the same amount of effort into the practices, even though the scouts weren’t there to see? In today’s passage, Pastor Bill reinforces the idea of doing your best for God, whether or not people are watching. Ultimately, you want to be working or serving with the right kind of heart that shows you’re willing to do anything if it’s for God.

With some sort of perversion. You think that you're doing the right thing, when really you've been tricked. Its important that you as a Christian are always listening for the voice of the Lord... But how? Make time to learn the voice of the Lord! When you read your Bible, pray and listen, you are learning the voice of God.

Whenever you do the will of the Lord, there will be opposition. When you make the choice to be obedient to the promptings of the Lord... The enemy of your soul hates it. He hates your willing obedience and he hates that work for the Kingdom of God is being accomplished. He will do anything to get you to stop... But the Lord will always protect you. God and satan are not equals. The Lord allows him what he is able to do... All for a greater purpose of accomplishing His will in your life and in the world.

In today's message, Pastor Bill will remind you to be persistent and patient in your prayer. Sometimes we get so excited or so desperate for something that we pray and pray and pray... And God doesn't answer our prayer when we thought He would. It can be a really disappointing feeling... But this doesn't mean God won't answer your prayer. The Bible says that God's ways are higher than ours. He will answer your prayers when He knows is best. He has your best interest in mind and He will act on that.

In today's message, Pastor Bill will share with you that God “burdens” people with the things that God cares about. In your life, you may be burdened with the desire to help people suffering from addiction or illness. Whatever the case may be, Pastor Bill will remind you that there is a right way to go about this burden. Should you gather people around you and complain about the cause God has laid on your heart? No! You need to gather people around you and pray to the one who can work miracles.

In today's message, Pastor Bill will share with you about the central theme of the book of Nehemiah. The Book of Nehemiah is based around the idea of rebuilding or restoration. Later in the book of Nehemiah you'll see a theme of revival. So what does this all point to? Jesus. We see not only a rebuilding of a city but of a nation's relationship with God. Not only do we see a revival of a nation but a nation who's relationship with God has been rebuilt and refueled on the Word of God and His promises.
