You might see a superhero or a fictional character on TV and wish you could be like them. But are you aware that God has a particular plan for your life? You thought that if God just gave you that thing, you would be happy for the rest of your life. But what happens when that job becomes too stressful, when that spouse isn’t all you thought they were, and that roof starts leaking? In today’s message, Pastor Bill warns against complaining and being ungrateful towards God for what He has blessed you with.

It’s easy to talk badly about leaders and people over you. It could be your boss, your teachers, your parents, or your pastor. We all have our own ideas of how we could do it better if we were in their shoes. Even within the church, we can be envious of other people’s gifts or what God is doing in their lives. God can forgive you of any sin you've ever committed and make you a new creation in Him. His grace is sufficient. But, as Pastor Bill's going to show you in today's message, there is a point where God will let you suffer the consequences of your sins if you take them too far in your disobedience to Him. And after that, if your heart stays hard to Him, sin will overtake you and He won't be there to save you for eternity when you need Him the most. God wants intimacy with you, but you must want it with Him.

God's grace is sufficient to cover all of your sins, no matter how bad they seem or how far you've strayed from God. But, once you confess them to Him and accept Jesus, it doesn't stop there. You need to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, meditate in His Word daily, and continually grow in Him. Otherwise, sin will eventually work its way into your life. God can forgive anything you've done, but once your time on earth is up, the decision can't be changed. There's a point where it can be too late.

You're promised to have all of your needs met by God when you follow Him wholeheartedly and commit to serving Him. However, as Pastor Bill's going to remind you in today's message, The Christian life is not promised to be easy. You need to be careful to stay along the path God has for you. The devil has a sneaky way of making your life seem like it's easy or going better when you're not doing anything that threatens his kingdom here on the earth. The opposition comes when you're following God, but so does God's help.
