Today Pastor Bill clarifies the call to be a witness to those who are lost. You see people every day that need to meet Jesus. They are living life and acting out of the flesh. Then there’s the friend or colleague you see at church a few Sunday’s a month who claims to be Christian, but their life outside the church is in apparent rebellion with God. You should feel convicted to share The Word with the lost, and to steer clear of the phony! Pastor Bill says “It's better to be real and weak than to pretend to be strong”!

Have you ever found yourself in the position to speak God’s word into the life of someone at work? Did you take that opportunity or let it pass by - possibly asking God to make it clear to you if He really wants you to have that conversation? Today Pastor Bill puts it plainly, saying God expects you to be a witness at your job, whether you like it or not! He compares you to Paul who while in prison writes down his conviction to witness to those imprisoned with him. You have that same opportunity at work.

How did you react to the news the last time you didn’t get the job or that promotion you were waiting on? Did you thank God for working His plan in your life, or did you find a place to let your frustrations out and blow off a little steam? Humans are by design emotional creatures. When put to good use it can bring out the very best, or when under pressure the very worst in you. Today Pastor Bill says the next time you receive bad news from your job, thank God for allowing you to serve exactly where you are!

In all things, and specifically in your job today, no matter what you do, or where you do it, Pastor Bill says that you should be focused on glorifying God! Have you ever looked at your job that way? Or maybe you think that it's okay to act differently because you need to relate to your peers. Pastor Bill cautions you to watch out for those ideas that suggest anything other than what would be pleasing to God. The volunteer and church work is good, but you need to hold yourself to that same standard at your 9 to 5.

Today Pastor Bill says there is a right way to have a Christian Family. But even if that’s not your story, you can still create it for your children. The most important responsibility parents have for their children is not to provoke them. You may not even know when you do it, or maybe it’s a result of you not being around enough. If that’s you, then you can repair that damage today by making the decision to be present for your children starting today and committing to it again every day to show them your commitment.

Think back to your first crush, and multiply it by a million! Even then, God was working His perfect plan for your good. He put everything in place so you could have the experience of family.

For better or worse, if you consume enough of something you start to repeat it, and maybe even believe it. Be careful and discerning in how you allow the things of this world to affect your heart and mind. There is a simple cure for this infection, however - read your bible daily! How do you respond when someone does something good for you? Do you try to pay it back? You may try to pay it forward. What do you expect from others when you do something good for them? It’s normal to want some recognition, but today Pastor Bill says to be careful not to expect something in return! If you only help others for the favor they will owe you, then your heart is in the wrong place. What if God only offered His salvation to those who could return the favor? Like Jesus, offer your blessings freely.

You are not perfect! But good news…you aren’t supposed to be! God knows you better than you know yourself. He made you this way and has a purpose for your life. You are who and what you are because of what you were made to do. God knew before you did, about the things you’ve done, and He knows about the things you will do - good and bad! Pastor Bill says today that you need not feel bad about that. God picked you in spite of your flaws to do a work that is uniquely designed for you alone.
