Many of us have experienced manipulation within the church. Whether the experience involved you directly, or it was something you witnessed, the use of the scripture to manipulate is something that is far too common. It’s not some magic ghost or a special feeling that you experience, He is the Godhead working in tandem with God to empower your life. One of the biggest misconceptions about the church is that all Christians are living perfect lives. People assume that they have to either be perfect people or dust themselves off before coming to Christ. There is nothing that you have to do before coming to Him and the only thing He expects of you is to give Him your all.
