The hypocrisy and insincerity make for good ratings, but this type of behavior is exactly what Jesus Christ abhors. Today, Pastor Bill encourages you to repent of any insincerity you have in your walk with Christ. With Him as your pillar and guide, your life should look similar in all circumstances.

What does “put on the full armor of God” mean to you? In today’s message, Pastor Bill discusses the significance of the armor. But is there one piece more valuable than the others? In a way, “yes.” All the other pieces of armor become null and void unless you first believe in God and in Jesus Christ, His Son, which Pastor Bill describes as the “shield of faith.” The Bible says, “above all” put on the shield of faith. Why “above all?” Because without Christ, none of the other pieces of armor will protect you.

Putting on the full armor of God takes intentionality. In the book of 2nd Corinthians, the analogy of war is fitting in the realm of spiritual warfare as well. When you’re in Christ, you’ll be targeted by Satan, his demons, and the world. Christ is their enemy. That’s why, as Pastor Bill discusses today, all of the spiritual armor mentioned in these verses is vital. Not only the offensive weapons but also the defensive and preventative ones as well. Be bold for Christ, and well equipped lest the world takes you down.

When God makes a calling on your life clear to you, that's when Satan is going to try to distract you from it. He doesn't want to see God's will get done, so he'll send distraction after distraction to get you off track of God's plan for you. As Pastor Bill's going to show you today, you need to keep a laser focus on doing God's work. He'll give you the abilities and resources you need to see His work through to the end, but you need to be willing to step out in faith and do it, without letting anything get in the way.

God's power is more than enough to keep you strong to say no to any temptation that comes your way. Pastor Bill's going to show you how prevalent spiritual warfare is in the world today, with a constant internal battle of sin versus righteousness. When you start being public about your faith, the opposition is going to come. Satan isn't going to sit around idle if you're doing God's will. However, if you seek The Holy Spirit for the strength to say no to those old sins that you used to do, He'll give it to you.

There're always people watching you, whether how you live your personal life or how you work. Today, Pastor Bill's going to take you to Ephesians to look at how different a Christian's work ethic should be compared to the world. Everything you do is representing God, and your attitude, while you're working, should reflect Him working in your life, too. God wants to see a hard worker, bringing glory to Him through your hard work, and one that doesn't complain or give up when it's not ideal to you.

Does your work ethic stand out from your fellow employees every day at work? There should be a noticeable difference in your drive and your honesty at work since you're representing God there to everyone else. Today, you're going to be encouraged by Pastor Bill to set an example at your job to make people realize you're serving God. Your attitude towards your boss, even if they're not a good one, should show respect, and your quality of work should show Jesus living in you.

Today Pastor Bill speaks to any child still under the authority of their parent. Most parents can look back on their childhood and wish they had saved themselves the trouble by listening to what their parents had told them to do. But this isn't very inspiring to kids. What if you learn that the Lord's will is for you to obey your parents? If you are walking with Jesus, you should be doing what your parents tell you to do out of love and respect to HIM. The only time you can disobey? When your parent’s instruction goes against scripture.

Most parents want to ensure good behavior, grades, and positive social interactions in their children. But as Pastor Bill shares, these targets are not the primary goal of parenting. Today's message shares how the number one task given to a parent is to lead the child to Christ. Their salvation doesn't land on your shoulders.
