We live in a broken world, and at times it can break people too, shaping the way they think and feel toward one another. We’re living in a time when, even from the womb, life is not always valued the way God intended. Imagine putting salt into a dish, but it never changes the flavor. At that point, you’d probably ask, " What’s the point of the salt?" Jesus used that exact picture when He described the role of believers in the world. We’re meant to have an influence. To bring something different into the environments where God has placed us. Today, Pastor Bill shares that this can be challenging, especially when speaking up might make things uncomfortable. But being a follower of Christ sometimes means standing firm in our beliefs.

We've all heard the Golden Rule — treat others the way you want to be treated. It's a great start, but Pastor Bill reminds you today that there's an even higher call. As a Christian, you're called to treat others the way God treats you! The mercy and grace you show others reveal how deeply you truly understand God's mercy for you. If you really get how undeserved His kindness toward you is, you can't help but give it away freely. So, how are you treating others? 

Picture it — Jesus standing on a hill, warm sun on His face, a cool wind at His back, birds gliding overhead, looking out over a sea of people. He was about to deliver one of the most powerful messages the world had ever heard. Today, Pastor Bill shares that although Jesus couldn't see every individual face, the crowds moved Him deeply — and that feeling became action. When you see the people around you, are you moved to compassionate action as the Spirit prods your heart?
