The world focuses on the things we need. We need the next iPhone. We need to see the latest Avengers movie. We absolutely must try the new taco shop. Sure, you may have done the work to keep bacon stocked, but even your ability to work is a gift. Today, Pastor Bill teaches that, while God has blessed you with many great things, Jesus brings the greatest gift of all. He brings a gift that can’t be taken away. He brings love, grace, mercy, and ultimately, salvation from a world that wants to tear you apart. 

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.” This lie is proven false daily. How often have you been hurt by someone’s words? The words you speak have incredible power. Do you know what the definition of insanity is?
