We all have met people who dream of quiting the nine to five rat race, for a life of more adventure and travel. Courtney Condy is one of those lucky few who actually went for it, and in 2015 she found herself on a trek of a lifetime to the Everest Basecamp in Nepal. It was April 2015, and on the 25th of that month, Nepal was hit by a devistating 7.8 magnitude earthquake, that rocked the city as well as the surrounding mountain ranges leaving thousands dead and even more injured. Suddenly a trek of a lifetime became quick reminder of how fragile life can actually be.
