Together with conspiracy theory debunker Mike Rothschild and Russian media researcher Vasily Gatov, we spend the hour learning about the rise of QAnon, what makes conspiracy theories so intractable, how to talk to a family member or friend who is a Q believer, and more.

Mike Rothschild is a conspiracy theory debunker and is currently writing a book about QAnon for Melville House.

Vasily Gatov is a Russian media researcher and author based in Boston. He is currently a visiting fellow at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.
