Lisa Anderson with the Boundless Show shares that apps for “AI girlfriends” are becoming increasingly popular, with more than 144,000 monthly searches. These apps allow users to select and customize their own character to fit their ideal partner; they can then chat with this character, creating a false sense of relationship.
