Today we lost an American hero, Robert S. Mueller III, or "Bob", as we called him when he was Chief of the Homicide Section at the DC US Attorney's Office, and we were his homicide team. He was our boss.

As I have said publicly many times over the years, Bob Mueller was the single best leader and supervisor I ever had the honor to work for.

We lost a lion of justice, a warrior for accountability, and an American hero.
