Cs: Večer padl na malou, útulnou rezidenční čtvrť.
En: Evening fell on the small, cozy residential neighborhood.

Cs: Světýlka blikala na každém stromě, girlandy zdobily ploty, a z oken se šířilo teplo domovů na sněhem pokryté cesty.
En: Lights twinkled on every tree, garlands adorned the fences, and warmth from homes spread out onto the snow-covered roads.

Cs: Vzduchem se nesl zvuk smíchu a v dálce bylo slyšet koledy.

Cs: Cítil se součástí něčeho hezkého.

Cs: Mrazivá vzdušná se změnila v teplo přátelství a vzájemného porozumění.
