June, 1968. Jewish Chaplain's assistant Jeff Fienstein lands in Vietnam for a one year tour. Stationed at Long Binh, he would be on one of only five Jewish religious teams serving in Vietnam. From the DMZ in the north to the Mekong Delta in the south, he visited and served in all four corps.

Merrill's Marauders fought in the thick jungles of Burma behind Japanese lines in WWII. Named the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional) - 2,750 went into the jungles, 272 were killed, 955 wounded, and 980 evacuated for illness and disease. Japanese casualties were in the thousands. Most likely the first special forces unit, Vinvent Melillo was one of those brave men. His daughter, Jonnie Melillo Clason, an expert on Merrill's Marauders, is Pete Mecca's special guest.
