Being able to watch the growth of my current company has opened my eyes to how much investment is needed to maintain and grow a business. As the business scales up, the costs don't increase as a similar incremental rate, but seem to burst at the seams at points. But when we look back down to the smaller aspects that make the product, they can add up quick.

When we are at work, normally hard work and a showing a drive usually ends up with people acquiring promotions. Throughout history though, there have been abuses of power of the sexes in levels of attaining "promotions" without full merit. How do we deal with false rumors of peoples' rise to the corporate top.

How often do we give our word to follow through on something? Offering a vow or a pact showing that we are serious, without lawyers and contracts. What is the level of recourse when we do or do not follow through with a simple word?
