As we begin our study of Genesis, we start where the Bible starts — with God. In Genesis 1, we see the power and authority of His Word: when He speaks, things change. Creation is intentional, we are not accidents, and our trust belongs in the One whose ways are higher than ours. His Word has weight, and it still speaks life today.
