Kids might get a summer vacation, but God doesn't! Am I right? But it sure can seem that once school lets out and our routines vanish, our families' faith lives can go on a serious break. Today on the show, Meg Hunter-Kilmer is here to give us some suggestions of ways to keep that fire of faith alive even in the heat of the summer and she shares with us some "unofficial" patron saints for all of our favorite summer things.
What we talk about:
Who is Meg Hunter-Kilmer?
Meg Hunter-Kilmer is a hobo missionary. After 2 theology degrees from Notre Dame and 5 years as a high school religion teacher, she quit her job in 2012 to live out of her car and preach the Gospel to anyone who would listen. 50 states and 25 countries later, this seems to have been a less ridiculous decision than she initially thought. Meg is also the author of the new book, "Saints Around the World."

It's almost certain that there isn't a woman out there who doesn’t have some issue with her body. Whether she’s tall or short, plus size or petite, “healthy or unhealthy”. No matter how much or little she exercises or what or how much she eats. We all want to be better, do better, feel better, look better. And throw aging and the crazy hormones of pregnancy or menopause in there and, well, it all just feels like a whole lot. So today, Beth sits down with Angela Brown to discuss flipping the script on women's health and wellness.
