Finding the components of a West African holiday meal in Kansas City is not an easy task. There are shops like Wah Gwan or Fannie’s on Troost Avenue, but after that, options begin to thin. As Bek Shackelford-Nwanganga reports, one woman is determined to bring the smoky taste of home to Nigerians transplanted into Kansas City.
