My reaction to the the calling of Elder Clark G. Gilbert to the holy apostleship. I'm excited for conference and to hear more from him and learn about him over time, but I feel that way about every new apostle. I love our prophets, seers, and revelators: our wild, strange, and peculiar leaders who give up worldly pursuits to serve Jesus Christ and minister to the world.

Moses 6:38, where the people speak about Enoch and how foreign he is to their society, includes two phrases that I think need to apply to more of us who hold the Melchizedek Priesthood: (1) There is a strange thing in the land, and (2) A wild man hath come among us.
