    • Meditate upon the false persons who come and feed us posion that distract us from the real goal of life, Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet and pure devotional service
    • Use the minutes in the day to think about the different authorities in the past who have taught us things that do not allign with the teachings of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and put those in a distance place from yourselves
    • Śakaṭāsura, the cart demon wanted to crush Kṛṣṇa’ but Kṛṣṇa kicked himto a distant place
    • He represents the load carrying tendency, that we carry unnecessary things, bad habits that we do not want to give up: eg. lethargy, sleeping too much, not making the best use of our time, attraction to the opposite sex, overeating and other anarthas
    • We should see what are the current stock of bad habits in our hearts
    • The tendency to hang on to material desires as it causes too much strain is Śakaṭāsura mentality
    • We should make a resolute determination of wanting to get rid of bad habits
    • When we are faced with the enormity of our task we tend to be „practical”, „realistic”, „not so fanatical”
    • Make a systematic progressive effort to get free from unwanted habits and do not give into them or embrace them
    • Pray to Kṛṣṇa for His help as our own efforts are limited
