In Vṛndāvana there are main forests and subforests, upavana, and upa-upavana
Upavana is a very nice garden, a small forest, a grove where certain types of trees grow in one place
The moonlight paints everything silver and Balarāma is white
For real rasa or relationship there cannot be too many people – Yogamāyā can arrange tens of thousands of gopīs being with Balarāma and have intimate experience
There are many different types of lotuses
At Rāma-ghaṭṭa there is a big black Deity of Balarāma playing the flute
Uddīpana are things that remind us of Kṛṣṇa, like His footprints so Balarāma is careful with them
When Nanda was taken to Varuṇa’s abode he was in a state of ecstasy of separation from Krṣṇa –Kṛṣna’s cooling touch is like the moonshine
Nanda does not understand the repsect Varuṇa shows Kṛṣṇa
You cannot write down every detail otherwise Bhāgavatam would be endless
It is not a young man interacting with young girls but the Supreme Personality of Godhead interacting with His potencies – hearing it has the power to awaken love
Tava-kathāmṛta when heard with faith gives spiritual life → leads to pure devotion and prema → drives lust out from the heart
Prabhupāda wrote to a devotee that if you are bothered by sexlife read about Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes with the gopīs
There are different types of light like moonlight and sunlight with a different effect – what looks like the same pastime (young boys and young girls) has a very different effect
The conclusion of the 33rd chapter [Anyone who faithfully hears or describes the Lord's playful affairs with the young gopīs of Vṛndāvana will attain the Lord's pure devotional service. Thus he will quickly become sober and conquer lust, the disease of the heart.]
