What appears to be a little thing to an outsider may be a big thing to the person involved
The Lord’s eternal associates are all perfect in their right and satisfied in their service
When they are compared they all bring up their faults
We wouldn’t want to get into an argument about the defects they claim as they would be very capable to defend themselves
The nature of bhakti is that one is never satisfied with one’s devotion and sees oneself low which is only possible if you see faults in yourself
The more prema the more dainya or humility
Modern psychology is that you should always feel good about yourself but it is a materialistic philosophy
Expressions of prema can not be rationalized, they are beyond understanding by conditioned souls
We marvel at the nature of vaiṣṇavas
Is it common knowledge that gopīs’ love is the highest? It is certainly well known to Nārada and Uddhava but they don’t feel qualified to refer to them
We plaster Rādhārāṇī’s name verywhere, tattoo it but great souls are hesitant even to say it
What is not kept confidential is ultimately lost
Prahālada Mahārāja is not meditating on the gopīs but Nṛsiṁhadeva, Hanumān on Lord Rāma and Sītādevī, it is not the realm of their bhakti
Nārada is an exception as he was in līlā and also plays the rule of guru everywhere
