A Word from the Valley - Zion Lutheran Church

Welcome listeners to A Word from the Valley, a podcast produced from Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown, MD. For more information about our faith community and weekly worship services, please visit us at zionmiddletown.org or find us on Facebook.

This is a podcast that follows an ancient practice called Lection Divina which means divine reading in Latin. This is a way of reading and thinking about scripture to connect with God and be open to God’s word transforming you. We will hear a reading for the upcoming week’s lectionary three times and also share in some thoughts historically and presently to help it make more sense for now. We hope this living word helps you grow in your relationship with God and this world God so loves.
