The topic of letting go is something that often comes in and out of my life at random times and in different seasons, it is something I hold dear to my heart.

For some it is easy and for others it is not. For me it depends on the matter at hand, some things are so easy to let go of and move on while other things are very difficult to let go of.

This is where the Lords strength and knowing His word comes into play to help us so that we don't drown in the pool of rigidness.

I hope this episode encourages at least one person and i hope that we may all continue to allow the Lord to work in us.

This topic is something that I never really spent a lot of time consciously thinking about growing up. That was before I started exposing myself to more of the outside world. I mean meeting people from different backgrounds and walks of life.

For the first time my eyes were opened to just how much of a difference being different can make when it comes to relationships with others!

I realised that certain lifestyles, characteristics and traits that I have, are not what others grew up with. And just like that, my awareness of expectations was born.

The deeper I dived into this, the more I realised the importance of inviting God into every single aspect of our lives. This includes in setting expectations.

How many times have you made a choice from the drive of the emotion that you were currently feeling? Most often than not, it is everyday. How many times have you stopped to think, before making your decision, about how you are feeling and whether the decision you are making is based on the emotion that you are feeling? 

You feel jealous, ashamed or worthless so you delete your social media accounts. You feel upset and angry so you block and delete people from your life. You feel happy so you make promises that you aren’t even sure you can keep when the happiness has subsided.
