So with the Premier League season over, we turn our attention to the English Championship Playoff Final that had Fulham beating Brentford 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday. With that being said, we now have our three teams that will make the jump up to the Premier League next season. Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion (aka West Brom) , and Fulham! We will discuss what we can expect from the new boys next season. Champions League is finally back! Yesterday Manchester City was able to hold off Real Madrid 2-1 (4-2 on aggregate). And a big upset as Lyon got by on a 2-2 aggregate score with a road goal being the deciding factor. Later today we have Bayern Munich v Chelsea and Napoli v Barcelona. Next the MLS Restart Tournament has finally reached the Semi-Finals and now we have just two teams left! Adam’s beloved Union started slow and missed opportunities as they fell to the Portland Timbers 2-1. In the other Semi-Final, the surprise of the tournament Orlando City beat Minnesota United 2-1 to advance to the Finals. Now we got Portland vs Orlando City on Tuesday in the Final. Who ya got?
