The road to WWE Survivor Series continues, as Raw emanated from the “World’s Most Famous Arena”, Madison Square Garden. This show was heavily promoted for John Cena’s last appearance at MSG. On a night with many headlines, the biggest headline was the return of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to join a star-studded WarGames match. With the teams set, we discuss if Paul Heyman and The Vision are in a must-win situation at Survivor Series.
We also saw John Cena’s final appearance on Raw at MSG, where the rematch was set for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. In his final match in NYC, it was a 6-Man tag, with Cena teaming with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio challenging Judgement Day. Was this a missed opportunity for WWE to feature a big match for Cena in the Garden?
The Last Time Is Now Tournament continued, as the mystery opponents were revealed to be Matt Cardona as Zach Ryder and Nic Nemeth as Dolph Ziggler. Did the mystery opponents live up to the hype? Did Je’Von Evans elevate his star-power against Gunther in their first round matchup?
