She payed off her family's debt, found love over a shoot off, toured the country and the world, befriended Sitting Bull, AND set records well into her 60s. Annie Oakley is a famous sharp shooter who lives up to her nick-name "Little Sure Shot". Join us as we discuss the amazing life of an amazing woman!

*Please note we do mess up the section about Annie and Frank joining Buffalo Bill's show. Annie joined with Frank first, becoming his assistant, then the main act. And only joined Buffalo Bill after his sharp shooter was in a boating accident and retired, unable to get used to his new guns. We didn't realize until later and had no time to re-record so, I'm making note of it here.

Miles of canals ran through and around a small town in North Eastern Ohio creating jobs for dozens of people. People like; Gretchen Gill, Esther Hale, and Lucy Cobb, to name a few.
