Kehne lagi woh chidiya, tum insan ho ajeeb

‘Sahil’, tum be surey nahin ho, sur tumhare hain sahi

 Kyon le chaley ho saath mujhe, main to hun ghareeb  

Ghurbat ki baat nahin hai, faqir to hain hum sab

Gulu tera le jaata hai, ai bulbul, mujhe khuda qareeb.
