This last juz has 37 surahs of the Qurâan (almost a third of the surahs). These are short, rhythmic, impactful and easily retainable surahs.
This juz has the first revelation Al-Alaq (96) and the last complete Surah Al-Nasr (110).
The major themes of the 30th Juz
1) Belief in the oneness of Allah
2) The Prophetâs job is to deliver the message
3) Belief in the unseen
4) Believing = good deeds of all types
5) Humans are fickle and ungrateful
This juz has Surahs of extreme virtues:
- Al-Zilzaal is like Â¼ of the Qurâan
- Al-Nasr is like a Â¼ of the Qurâan
- Al-Kafiroon is like a Â¼ of the Qurâan
- Al-Ikhlaas is like 1/3 of the Qurâan
- Al-Falaq and Al-Naas are for seeking protection from evil and for ruqya
- Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq and Al-Naas are to be recited after every prayer, three times after Fajr and Asr and before sleeping
