We continue to perfect imperfection in our quest to become better everyday.

Songs, sounds, smells, tastes, touch, and visuals all bring us back to amazing places. My father is a professional musician and his talents, songs, and friends, all played an integral part in shaping my life, and especially my love for music. This episode is dedicated to the man who always kissed us goodnight.

If we were paid every time we doubted ourselves or heard someone else doubt himself or herself, we would be millionaires. We have the opportunity to shape young minds, and adult minds (though it's harder), by recognizing and passing on gifts.

The following was shared in my son's recent Sunday school class:

A person who is offering a correction, tochecha must not speak harshly and humiliate the other. No person may humiliate another, even more so in public. When someone is hurt by the behavior of another, but believes that anything he or she would say would not be received, and is able to forgive without holding a grudge or harbor bad feelings, the person who feels hurt is not obligated to give tochecha.

Leviticus 19:17

You shall not hate your kinsfolk in your heart. Reprove your kinsman but/and incur no guilt because of him.
