Thank you so so much again for having me! I’m Kayla, 37 and totally blind American who absolutely adores all things music! I started singing in the church as a young child, then it moved to private classical training and voice lessons in college, and now here we are 14 years later. I don’t perform much these days, but I love to produce, and I love the creative process! I live in Kansas City, Missouri with my husband Bryan. Contemporary Gospel/R&B artist/songwriter, television series creator, concert performer, Grammy nominee, and future author Dan Kenneth is a multi faceted personality with many gifts.  With two successful albums under his belt including his Grammy nominated “From The Heart,” featuring the top ten adult contemporary radio single of the same name, and his latest outing, “Didn’t I Tell You,” both produced and cowritten by veteran producer Rod Clemmons, he is gearing up to prepare and release his 3rd album later this year.  The year, 2025, has a couple of other Dan Kenneth surprises including an innovative and engaging half hour cartoon series called, “The Doodie Doos.”  He has also finished a gripping autobiography called, “The Devil’s Music,” which is also being developed in to a motion picture biopic.  A promotional talk show tour is being planned to promote the cartoon the book and his movie in the last quarter of this year and going in to the next year with the release of his new album.

Hello Aaron,
This is Alan. I’m 59 years old and currently living in Roseburg, a small town in southern Oregon. I’m 59 years old, born on April 15, 1965.

I’m an aspiring musician. I play bass guitar, primarily, but can also play drums and percussion. I am a level I Usui Reiki practitioner. In my past, I’ve had jobs teaching adaptive technology to blind adults.

My podcast “Five Strings & Random things” was me talking about my life, in general, as a musician and about life in San Francisco. I moved to Oregon after my fiancee, Donna passe away in October of 2023. I couldn’t afford San Franciiscos cost of living on my own, and two of my very best friends invited me to move here and live with them. One of them, my friend David, is my bass guitar mentor. He started me playing back in August, 2015.

So, that’s a capsule version of who I am and what my life is.
