Howell Wechsler, EdD, MPH, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, is a national expert on childhood obesity, having previously served as the Director of the Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Shelly Vaughn earned her undergraduate degree from Ball State University and masters from Wright State University. She had twelve years of teaching experience in special education and various elementary grades before transitioning to elementary principal with Fort Recovery Local Schools. She is currently in her third year as superintendent.

In this segment we talk about the E-Rate program the nations largest education technology program. Revisions to the program are currently being explored, aimed at expanding broadband access to all schools.

Shellie leads the Council's efforts to support First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative to end childhood obesity within a generation.
