Welcome ABBAology Insiders!  The word "set" has an immobility to it that the word "flow" doesn't have.  May seem like a small detail, but the word mindSET is sending a signal to our brain to be less pliable than the word flow does... 

In this episode Jake examines what doubt actually is, and that it's really more the presence of scrutiny, and the evidence you're taking your faith seriously.  It's an absence of blind faith perhaps...it's the crossroads we come to when we must choose between two opinions; it is that time of wavering before the choice...it's a natural occurrence while you're growing...it's to be expected! 

All systems dependent on the fear and ignorance of the masses in order to succeed beware, inevitability is just around the bend!  

In this episode, Jake takes one verse and shows how depending on the lens you see through, judicial or familial, the verse completely changes!  

If we can understand what's happening historically while the new testament is being written, it begins to make more sense than ever.  Much of what's written of was future for the writers and their immediate audiences, but long past for us.  This simple key of "knowing what time it is" will revolutionize your new testament understanding.

Jesus is an example of us, not for us.  If Jesus is an example for us of another behavioral standard unto which to attain, then He kept us under law!  But if Jesus is an example of us, then we can see He was trying to take us out of that law based way of relating to the Father, and into a sonship, family based way of relating to Him, as He did!

Jesus came to restore spiritual sight to a humanity that was seeing through a veil...seeing a distorted view of who God was, and who they were....Jesus never told anyone to change their nature, but He did teach that they weren't seeing clearly...He was the spiritual understanding that came into the spiritual blindness, and He'll heal it if we can get this!
