Texas politicos have been asking themselves why Greg Abbott is going against not only the conservative coalition that opposed his re-election but Texans for Lawsuit Reform, Mayes Middleton, Charter School and school-choice advocates and the Teas Public Policy Foundation.

Greg Abbott rolled out a slew of runoff endorsements and chose the more liberal candidate in every race.

His endorsements point to one singular focus and that is setting up a Texas House that is opposed to Dan Patrick’s conservative agenda for 2023.
