This week Alisha continued our series through the Gospel of Mark, titled 'Who do you say I am?'
Reading from Mark 4:35-41 and 6:45-52, these two stories give insight into the journey the disciples go on as they wrestle with the question, Who do you say I am?
Alisha leaves us with the following questions to reflect on from the message;
Are you living like Jesus is the Author of Creation, or do you let the storms of life (the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a financial crisis, or sickness) fill you mind with worry, disappointment or confusion?
Does the way you live your life show your faith in Jesus and your trust that he cares for you? Or would Jesus ask you the same question he asked his disciples “why do you have so little faith?”
Do you expect Jesus to act in ways that demonstrate his authority over the whole of creation, or have you allowed your heart to become hardened to his power?
Who do you believe Jesus is, that even the wind and the waves obey him?
