Sometimes there isn’t one big moment when you suddenly realize, “Okay, I need a therapist.” Sometimes it’s much quieter than that. You just start noticing that something feels different. Life feels harder. You aren’t coping the way you normally would. You don’t quite feel like yourself. On this broadcast Dr. Robinson and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Dusha Cecil identify a few signs that it may be time to consider therapy. www.CryoftheBroken.com
Whose report will you believe? Will you believe the lies of men or will you believe the word of the one true Living God! Will you believe the arguments of your mind or will you believe the words of the Living God? On this broadcast Dr. Robinson reminds us to "Let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4)."
Today on Abide Forever we're exploring one of the most important questions facing both the Church and mental health professionals: What is really happening in the mind? Is lasting freedom primarily psychological, spiritual, or both? In an interview with, Dusha Cecil, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Founder of Cry of the Broken, Dr. Robinson seeks to understand where Psychology and Spirituality intersect and where they differ.

On this broadcast, Dr. Robinson talks about the power of the tongue and how our words can work against us. Our words can create the resistance to the thing that we are believing God for. Spiritual governance requires us to guard our tongue for it is a world of wickedness that is able to pollute the whole person.
On this broadcast, Dr. Robinson subdues the resistance in us that opposes the will of God for us. She reminds us that the reward of death to self is rest.
To subdue is to overthrow, to conquer or to bring into subjection. Jesus has already disarmed the authorities, they have no power over us, accept for the power we give to them. On this broadcast, Dr. Robinson takes back that power, and subdues the authorities that have been sent to disarm the believer. We cast down every argument and we command every blanket of darkness to lift in the name of Jesus.
He whom the Son has set free is free indeed. On this broadcast Dr. Robinson leads us on the battlefield of prayer and intercession for the renewal of the mind for the children of God.
Neglect or a lack of nurturing can do serious damage to your self-perception and self-esteem. Neglect is a type of long drawn out suffering that causes people to see themselves as unworthy of care and affection. How do we abide in our true identity in Christ, when the people responsible for ensuring our growth and development physically, mentally and emotionally failed to fulfill their responsibility to us? On this broadcast Dr. Robinson tackles this hard question.
Many of us have experienced rejection and are well acquainted with the bruise that it can have on our ego. How does God expect for His children to deal with rejection? On this broadcast Dr. Robinson teaches that although we may experience rejection, it is not God's will that we identify with the spirit of rejection so as to take on a rejected identity or persona.
