  • The Meaning of July Fourth for the Currently Enslaved
Max and Yusuf are traveling this week to continue fighting the good fight of ending slavery. Enjoy a rebroadcast of our 4th of July broadcast from last year. We'll be back July 10, 2022 God-willing with a new LIVE broadcast.

"Slavery never ended. Not a solitary day has passed where it but for a single second suddenly ceased. It wasn't solved, it evolved from slaves on plantations to involve caged convicts being leased, Or, warehousing bodies for profit like living slabs of meat. Like the deceased beast you eat at a rich man's feast. Deliberate deceivers. Talking about freedom and peace in a nation where nobody has either." - Max Parthas - Slavery is Abolished ...

  • S3-E22 You Gon' Learn Today!
In every sense this episode is going to be a master class on the how, what, who, when, why, and where of contemporary constitutional slavery.
On 6/15/2022 The ACLU National releases the full 170 page bombshell report titled:
    Captive Labor
    Exploitation of Incarcerated Workers
"Though this report centers on the gratuitously harsh conditions of contemporary prison labor, it is embedded in larger conversations about racism, sexism, the U.S. criminal legal system, the 13th Amendment, and the ultimate morality of this country’s vast network of prisons, jails, and detention facilities."
Yusuf and Max have been digging through the report and we'll pull out some major highlights.
It's our last broadcast before we hit the road on our way to NC and VT.  On 6/17/22 Max will be the Plenary Speaker at the Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting and Association of the Religious Society of Friends. Also known as the Quakers. After a dozen years of working with the Quaker Community Max is hoping to see them rededicate themselves as traditional and present allies of the US slavery abolitionist movement. Then, from June 18th through 21st, the abolitionist crew is rolling into the grand-daddy of all exception clauses, Vermont, for Juneteenth events. Including Curtis Davis, Tribal Raine, Max Parthas, Yusuf Hassan and more! We'll have Spoken Word, a live panel discussion, meet and greet, and will broadcast S3-E23of Abolition Today LIVE FROM VERMONT!
We've got it all in S3-E22. The facts, the momentum, the history, the music, the truth, and the voices of the ancestors brought back to life for a new generation.
You may choose to look the other way, but after today, you can never again say that you did not know.

  • S1-E21 Louisifornia Love
This week Max and Yusuf are joined by multiple abolitionists from the California and Louisiana campaigns. Sylvester Ani Jr. and Angelique Evans representing #ACA3 with Laramie Griffin and Maria Harmon representing #hb298. Deep Red and Bright Blue states. There's incredible breaking news to share and once again, the slavery abolitionist movement is gaining massive momentum.
We'll tell you all about it.  Those of us deeply involved in constitutional slavery abolition are in anticipation mode as we wait for 6/15/2022 when the ACLU National releases its full 170 page report titled: Captive Labor
    Exploitation of Incarcerated Workers
This is going to shake up the country and further boosts the movement to end constitutional slavery now and forever.
    We're leveling up fast.
As Juneteenth nears, members of the ASNN and partner states will be holding and attending special events nationwide. Including the premier of a brand new documentary at the National Civil Rights Conference. We'll drop the dates and data.

  • S3-E19 Black Monopoly
This week we discuss the system of modern enslavement as it affects US descendants of slaves. The false narratives, the systemic traps, the criminalization processes, and the racial disparities which are uniquely over-represented in black communities. We'll be joined by the Director of Decarcerate Louisiana, Curtis Davis.
DeLa just had their slavery abolition bill #HB298 pass through it's first committee hearing on May 16th. A complete reversal from last years loss in a 9-6 vote. In Louisiana, Black people constituted 33% of state residents, but 52% of people in jail and 67% of people in prison. Since 1970, the total jail population has increased 665%. We're going to explain why.
We've got some great musical mixes for you and a powerful Bridging The Gap segment. This will be another must hear episode. Count on it.
