"The 13th Amendment outlawed slavery—with one big caveat: “except as a punishment for a crime.” For a century and half, that’s been used to re-enslave American citizens (disproportionately black men). So I’m introducing a Constitutional amendment to end this abomination."

  • The 8th Amendment (P2) - Blood Money - Abolition Today S1E12
Last week's episode covered the Death Penalty aspect of 8th Amendment Violations, its history, flawed evidence, racial disparity in sentencing, exonerations, and State-sponsored killing. If the 6th amendment is a myth, the 8th amendment is blood money. The blood money that drives mass incarceration through unreasonable fines and fees. Or more simply put. The racially biased extortionist schemes of an enslavers debtors prisons.

  • The State of The 8th Amendment S1E11
After showing beyond a reasonable doubt that the 6th amendment is a myth which does not exist in reality, we move on to the primary tool used by prosecutors forcing the minorities and the poor to take plea deals at a 95% rate. The 8th amendment. Another constitutional protection and right that has become so perverted it no longer has any meaning.
