God purposely gives us the end without giving us the plan.  The honest truth is that if the Lord showed us the process that it takes to get to the end that most of us would abandon the destination.  Remember Joseph was even shown the throne and even feeding his brothers from the throne.  However, God never showed Joseph that in order to sit on the throne and feed his brothers that it would require him being sold into slavery and being rejected by his very own brethren.  Remember to never lean on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all of your ways and He shall direct your paths according to the Word of God.
