What a missed opportunity it is to live a life that never aligns with the divine purpose of God.  Often times the Lord gives us the end at the beginning of our lives without ever telling us how He is going to get us there.  Take the time to reject your own will so that you can become His.

God purposely gives us the end without giving us the plan.  The honest truth is that if the Lord showed us the process that it takes to get to the end that most of us would abandon the destination.  Remember Joseph was even shown the throne and even feeding his brothers from the throne.  However, God never showed Joseph that in order to sit on the throne and feed his brothers that it would require him being sold into slavery and being rejected by his very own brethren.  Remember to never lean on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all of your ways and He shall direct your paths according to the Word of God.

This is the year that Jesus has really began to expose anyone and anything that is not like Him.  His coming is beyond closer than when we first believed.  Darkness should never stand a chance in the presence of God's people.  The days of moving in ungodly secrecy without anyone knowing are over regardless of title, status or position!  Jesus said, "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open;" Luke 8:17 (NIV).

Out with the old and in with the new!  Except the new is not what's new in your eyes but in the eyes of the Almighty.  Year after year for so many becomes a chaotic circle of counterproductive disciplines that do us more harm than good.  Let 2024 be a year ordained by the Lord with great expectation and faith in His ability and not our own.

The story of the woman with the issue of blood is a known throughout Christianity.  Seemingly we tend to focus only on her healing with little regard to the issues she faced well beyond her hemorrhaging.  God only knows how many times she had to fight off the voice of the enemy to get into the presence of Jesus Christ.  The only way we become victorious in fighting a word the enemy speaks against us is speaking the Word of God that is for us.

Every Christian around the world loves to speak on the armor of God.  Notice that Paul never mentions the armor of God until the very last chapter of Ephesians.  This is because he spends five chapters of training and development before the armor is even mentioned.  Armor indicates that it is time for wear.  Unfortunately most Christians believe that they can suit up and battle without being trained by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, "Blessed is the man who hungers and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled".  To hunger after anything else in this life is pointless.  Allow the person of the Holy Spirit to check your appetite ensuring that you only crave the things of Him.
