  • 49 | Abortion Recovery Monday Minisode: Matthew 11:28-30

Summer is here—or at least, it’s basically summertime!

This season is meant for fun, relaxation, vacations, and soaking up the sunshine. We’re supposed to feel excitement and joy with the warmer days.

But maybe you’re not feeling that way right now.

Our family has definitely been through the wringer this past week, and when life feels heavy, it’s easy to get stuck in the doldrums.

If you’re struggling too, today’s verse is here to bring you a fresh dose of hope and encouragement.

  • 48 | Stages of Grief Series Part 4: Bargaining

Have you ever made a mistake or let someone down—and then tried to “make it up” to them?

Maybe you promised to be home at a certain time but were late, so you offered to make it right.

Or perhaps you missed quality time with your child and promised a special treat to make up for it.

These are examples of bargaining—trying to restore peace when we know we’ve fallen short.

Though these everyday situations seem small, they reflect a deeper pattern many of us experience after abortion.

It’s common to feel like we have to pay penance or somehow “earn” forgiveness for our decision. While bargaining is just one part of the grief journey, it’s important to recognize it—and find a way to move beyond it.

I pray this episode brings you encouragement and hope as you navigate this stage of grief.

  • 46 | Stages of Grief Series Part 3: Anger

Anger is one of the strongest emotions—and often a sign of deeper feelings beneath the surface.

When it comes to abortion, anger usually stems from grief, shame, guilt, or regret. You might feel angry at yourself, God, the doctor, the father, friends, or others connected to your decision.

While anger is a natural and valid response, it can’t be allowed to control your healing journey. Holding onto anger can block your progress and open the door to bitterness and resentment.

In today’s episode, we’ll explore practical steps to confront and release your anger—so you can move toward peace, acceptance, and true healing.

  • 44 | Stages of Grief Series Part 2: Denial

Today, we’re talking about the first and often most difficult stage of grief: denial.

Denial creates a roadblock. It keeps us stuck—and until we face it, true healing can’t begin.

When it comes to abortion, denial can keep us from fully grieving both our decision and the life of our unborn child.

We can’t process what we won’t acknowledge. And we can’t move forward if we don’t first recognize the weight of what happened.

In this episode, we’re unpacking 3 essential steps to move beyond denial—so you can begin to grieve honestly, heal fully, and experience the redemption God offers.

  • 43 | Abortion Recovery Monday Minisode: Lamentations 3:21-24

Mother’s Day was yesterday—and while it’s a joyful celebration for many, it can also stir deep grief.

Mothers mourn children lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early death.

But what society often overlooks is the silent grief carried by women who mourn the children they lost through abortion.

If yesterday was heavy for you—if you wrestled with regret, sorrow, or pain—I pray this episode and Scripture bring comfort to your heart as you begin a new week.

Remember: His mercies are new every morning. 💛

  • 42 | Stages of Grief Series Part 1: Forbidden Grief

Forbidden Grief. That’s what many women experience when they begin to grieve their abortions.

When we lose a loved one, we’re often met with support—meals delivered, arms wrapped around us, prayers offered.

But after an abortion? The silence is deafening.
We feel like we have to grieve in secret, wearing an invisible scarlet letter on our chest, aching for the pain to go away with no one safe to turn to.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be diving into this often unspoken pain—the forbidden grief—and the stages that come with it.

You are not alone. And your healing matters.

So without further ado, let’s begin.

  • 41 | Abortion Recovery Monday Minisode: Romans 3:23-24

Today, we’re diving into Romans 3:23–24.

Did you know that all of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God? Every single one of us. We’re imperfect people—and chances are, we’ll stumble again before our time on earth is through.

    But here’s the good news:

God offers us the full, redemptive gift of grace through Christ.
Our sins are forgiven. When we lay them at His feet, they’re finished. Gone. Covered by His mercy and love.

I pray this episode encourages you today—and reminds you that His grace is enough, not just for your past, but for your whole story. 💛
