The apostle Paul is expressing his deep concern for the church in Corinth. They were dealing with deceivers, liars, and phonies. Savage wolves had come into the church and they were ripping them off, so Paul is going to tell it like it is.

As we turn back to Romans chapter eight, we encounter a glorious truth. There is incredible freedom to be found in Jesus and the gospel of grace. We’re released from the burden of trying to live up to a standard, we could never reach on our own. Instead, God has done all the heavy lifting for us. And when we realize it’s all done by Jesus, we can simply embrace it by faith and be thankful!
