Last time on Abounding Grace we learned about the ordination of the Priests, in Exodus chapter 29. They were to be separated and washed. There was the anointing of oil, animal sacrifices and an anointing with the blood. These sacrifices all pointed to the coming Messiah. What in the world does this have to do with me, you ask? More than you may realize. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111

Pastor Ed Taylor is in Exodus chapter 29 as we hear all about the ordination of the Priests. Before Jesus came and died for our sins the Priests would regularly make sin offerings, to provide a covering for the sin of the people.Today we’ll see why that was necessary, and how it beautifully points to the Lamb of God who would become the sacrifice we need to remain in fellowship with God and spend eternity with the Lord. We’ll be in Exodus chapter 26 for the most part, learning all about the Tabernacle. This was no ordinary tent. It was a place where God would come and meet with them on the mercy seat. The Lord had very specific instructions on how it was to be built. And even the boards being clasped together conveyed an important message about how we need to be together.
