Some travel for enjoyment, others for business and others still to advance the gospel. Paul was in that third category, and could write a book on it! Today we’ll hear of Paul’s travels in Acts twenty-seven. And it wasn’t an easy, comfortable trip that’s putting mildly. In fact it ended in shipwreck! How do you react to change in your life? If you’re like a lot of people you resist or frown upon it. But today on Abounding Grace we’ll learn that God sometimes brings the winds of change into our lives to shake things up and push us in another direction. Sure it’s not comfortable, and often hurts. But as we gain God’s perspective on it all, it makes it much easier to go with the program. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29

We’re at the tail-end of a study in Acts called, Be the Church. So often in our lives God is preparing us for what’s up ahead. That trial you’re going through right now, could very well be part of the preparation process. And here in Acts chapter 26 we see God doing that for the apostle Paul. We need to learn to submit and obey, trusting the Lord along the way. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29

We’re in a series called, Be the Church! It’s a study in Acts, from pastor Ed Taylor. And today we come back to chapter 26, where Paul is sharing some of his testimony. Before he came to Christ he was a religious man. Which raises the question, can you be unsaved, and yet do a lot of good things and involved in religious activities? Absolutely! And Saul of Tarsus, later to be known as Paul, is a case in point. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29

Romans 6:23 declares, The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Here on this Good Friday edition of Abounding Grace pastor Ed Taylor shares how we can move from wages to gift, and that’s through repentance and faith in Christ. It really is the only way.
