If you’ve done an in-depth study of the Spiritual Gifts and manifestations of the Spirit, I’m sure you’re familiar with the various viewpoints that exist in the church. Some suggest that the sign gifts have ceased, and no longer for today. That would include the speaking of tongues, it’s interpretation and prophecy. But today on Abounding Grace, as we complete First Corinthians thirteen, we’ll discover that we need the Spirit, gifts and manifestations until the Lord returns. Pastor Ed Taylor will encourage us to keep our eyes on the prize, the coming of Jesus! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29

There was a wonderful unity in the early church, those who were materially blessed, shared with those who weren’t. But in the midst of this unity came hypocrisy - as a husband and wife named Ananias and Saphirra conspired to give the church the impression that they were giving all they had from the sale of a property. God disciplined them by taking their life. Today on Abounding Grace pastor Ed Taylor investigates the effect this had on the church at the time and the effect it should have on us today.
