My friend, Dr. Vida Samuel, Assistant Professor of Intercultural Communication and Women's Studies at the University of Connecticut and I had a conversation about racism and about being aware of our biases. We discussed identity and what it is like to be intra-racial in America and about the things that we need to do to increase our awareness and start our healing journey towards and end of racial biases.
