Today we will be chatting with Sarah Toney, one of my favorite people, and the Development Director with the Note-Ables Music Therapy Services. Sarah and my Dad Papa Tony had a special friendship that I will never forget!
Also joining us today is Deborah Maijala, the Rural Services Coordinator of The Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living. She’ll talk about how she’s finding ways to incorporate Zoom with the services they offer. Even better they joined their friends at Note-Able Music Therapy Services, who use music to enhance your physical, mental, and cognitive health, regardless of your musical experience or ability.
We’ll also have a special live performance and chat with The Robe Warriors, a father/son acoustic duo, whose cartoonish charismatic covers will melt your heart and massage your ears with their reinterpreted soon-to-be-once-again classics. I owe thanks to Kay & Shi for this discovery, as I was lucky enough to see them perform on their Easter Feed the Local Need. Once I heard these two sing, I was hooked. I’m sure you will be, too.
