This episode takes you through the origins of the word ‘podcast’. We also talk to people from diverse backgrounds and professions to find out what they think about the word and why, in their opinion, it survived the shifting sands of an ever-dynamic language that absorbs, drops, and re-defines words ever so often.

Here's a sneak preview of responses from interviews I conducted for a word that I'll be featuring in Season 1 of the podcast. As I talked with people about the words they said they used, I noticed the reasons why they used--or stopped using--words were downright serious, absolutely funny, and surprisingly practical!
