If you have a vehicle, when is the last time you got the oil changed? Even if you’re not the person in your family who takes care of the cars, or if you don’t drive, most of us understand the concept of an oil change: It’s when we replace old oil with fresh oil in a car’s engine. Maybe you even change the oil yourself! It’s a responsibility when we have vehicles. We also know that when we take our vehicles in for an oil change, there’s a good chance that the mechanic might suggest we do something else for the care of the car. And that naturally leads to one question: How much is this going to cost? Even if we know our trusted mechanic is just trying to help us take better care of our cars, we all balk at the costs. That same attitude often affects the way we take care of ourselves. As we’ll see this week, if we are only doing the bare minimum in our personal lives, it’s only a matter of time before something goes wrong with us. #Making Space
