In our first guest episode, we talk to Stefan Derewetsky about his path into his current role as an airline captain. He talks about his university journey, how he found his first job, and what he's doing now. We both learned a lot about the behind the scenes work on a commercial aircraft, and we had a ton of fun bringing on their first guest! 

In this episode, we discuss Amazon's freight shipping service, Amazon Air. We explain its rapid growth and how the service expanded to its current fleet of 67 aircraft in 6 years. We also touch on Prime Air, a separate delivery service from Amazon Air. 

In this week's episode, we discuss Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). We give an overview of what it is, how it is currently used, and how it will impact us for years to come. We also talk about recent government- and privately-funded initiatives to bring this to the forefront of the industry. 

In this episode, we go on our first deep dive on animal transport. Inspired by the recent 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, we talk about how animals, specifically horses, are transported abroad to compete. We also discuss how other animals and marine life are treated like royalty on their exciting flights to faraway destinations. 

In our first Featured Flyer episode, we talk about the remarkable Wally Funk. Her journey in aviation started when she was just one year old, and she is still thriving in the field today. You may recognize her name from Blue Origin's recent flight in New Shepard! We discuss her accomplishments, perseverance, and resilience that propelled her through her exceptional and still ongoing career. 

In this episode, we discuss the recent events in Commercial Space Flight, specifically the rivalry between Branson's Virgin Galactic and Bezos' Blue Origin. We looked into the crews onboard, the stats for each flight, and how they are igniting a new generation's interest in space. 

Today, we will be talking about Urban Air Mobility (UAM) or Air Taxis! These vehicles were designed to transport passengers by air at low altitudes in urban areas to reduce traffic congestion and automobile emissions. We'll look into key players getting involved in this estimated $1.5 million industry.

We’ll also reminisce about the infamous Concorde, the first supersonic aircraft, compare and contrast how it differs from Overture, and diagnose why Concorde was ultimately unsuccessful.
