Join us again this week as we continue our series on Genesis with a sermon on Genesis chapter 25 verses 1-18.
With the death of Abraham, Genesis 25 marks a major transition in the story of Scripture and in the story of God's redemptive plan. This chapter may look like a list of names and funerals, but beneath the surface is a powerful reflection on promises fulfilled, nations born, sons sent away, and a life well lived in faith. We close the book on Abraham’s life and begin the next chapter with Isaac and Jacob.
Abraham lived a full life of patient, persevering faith. The question is: will we?
